  This exceptional concert opens with Don Freund's Three Preludes, then features Memphian Alisa Horn, cellist and 1999 GSO Young Artist Concerto Competition winner, performing Max Bruch's Kol Nidrei.  Next, The Inventions Trio takes to the stage to perform Fantasy for Cello, Trumpet, and Piano composed by Bill Mays and is joined by the GSO to perform special arrangements of Baubles, Bangles and Beads by Borodin, Vocalise by Rachmaninoff, and Homage to Bill Evans, a medley with My Bells, Interplay, Turn Out The Stars, and Evans' best-known composition, Waltz For Debby.  Guests are invited to a reception following the concert.
